When the vehicle is brand new, the fuel Injectors, carburettor, fuel Intake valves & ports and the combustion chamber are free from deposits. Which make the engine deliver the peak performance. However, over a period of time, deposits gets accumulated on the above engine parts, which impede the vehicle performance. Usage of Speed helps in restoring the original engine performance by removing the existing deposits. It also prevents the formation of new deposits, thereby sustaining the peak engine performance through its lifetime.
When Speed is used in a new car or bike, one may not observe improvement in mileage or driving experience, as the engines of new cars and bikes are free of deposits. However, it is important to use Speed in new cars and bikes also, so that peak you experience peak engine performance throughout the lifetime of your vehicle.
Most of the latest generation cars are fitted with Multi Port Fuel Injectors, (MPFI) or Gasoline Direct Injectors (GDI) to accurately meter the fuel to the engine and to deliver it precisely in the form of fine droplets for clean burning. Because of the narrow fuel passages, injectors are highly sensitive to even small amounts of deposits in the critical regions where the fuel is metered and atomized. These deposits can alter the spray pattern and reduce the fuel flow, affecting drivability, decrease in power, fuel economy and increase in emissions. Deposits can cause similar problems in carburetted engine, since carburettors also use number of small passages and orifices to meter fuel.
Fuel injector deposits are formed when the engine is turned off as the trapped fuel in the injector is exposed to higher temperature for a longer time than the flowing fuel. The heat degrades the fuel and initiates deposit formation. Vehicles used for short trips are more prone to this problem.
Intake valves and ports are subject to more deposits than fuel injectors as they operate at higher temperatures. These deposits reduce maximum engine power because they restrict airflow.
Combustion chamber deposits tend to increase the Octane Requirement Increase (ORI) and it will result in knocking and cause damage to the engine if the situation prolongs.
Up to 2% Fuel Economy
Restores Engine's Peak Performance
Ensures Better Drivability (smooth driving)
Reduces Emissions
Lowers Maintenance Cost
Speed is blended with multi-functional performance additive system that effectively removes harmful deposits from all fuel metering systems and components – be it fuel injectors, carburettors, fuel intake valves & ports or combustion chamber. The additive system not only removes the existing deposits but also ensures that your engine remains deposit free at all times so that, your engine performs as good as new engine. In other words, engine operates at its peak performance.
However you will obtain perceptible benefits from Speed only after consuming one or two tank fills of fuel as it takes some time to clean the existing deposits. Depending on the level of fuel consumption, the period could last up to a few weeks. But regardless of the time, Speed works silently to restore the performance of your vehicle to its peak. It offers up to 2% Fuel Economy benefit. Usage of Speed provides up to 2% Fuel Economy benefit, as compared to the usage of regular unleaded petrol.
The deposits in fuel Injectors, carburettor, Intake valves & ports and combustion chamber leads to non-optimal air-fuel mixture which causes increased engine emissions. Since Speed removes deposits and keeps your engine clean, it reduces emissions from your engine.
Old cars contain carburettor-based engines. Even though these engines do not contain very sensitive parts like MPFI/GDI engines; they have many parts (intake valve, combustion chamber) where deposits cause similar problems.
Carburettors also use a number of small channels and orifices to meter fuel; deposits in these can result in irregular fuel supply and hence poor performance. Further the combustion chamber in these is prone to deposit accumulation resulting in knocking. Some workshops retune the engine to avoid the knocking. This will result in lower performance.
Speed removes all deposits from the fuel intake systems including the combustion chamber and restores the engine performance to a brand new car performance.
These are special additives designed to clean the deposits from the engine's vital parts thereby realizing the maximum power of engine. Also, it contains additives to protect the fuel system from rust & corrosion.
It is the same as that of unleaded petrol, which is 91 Octane.
Vehicle manufacturers design compression ratio of engines based on fuel specifications in the country. Majority of cars produced and driven in India are designed for 91 Octane Petrol.
Yes, you can use Speed along with the Octane booster. Instead, of adding Octane booster, we suggest you use Speed 97, with 97 Octane number, which also has all the properties of Speed.
Speed removes all deposits formed in the engine and associated parts.
This is not necessary since the turnaround of the product in the tank will, automatically, take place after a few fills of Speed.
Since, Speed is a blend of unleaded Petrol with MFA additives, it is meant for all vehicles which drive on unleaded petrol.
Every vehicle is designed to deliver a particular maximum performance. With usage, deposits get formed in the critical parts of the engine, which reduce the performance in many ways. The overall effect will be in terms of a reduced mileage. When one starts using Speed, engine returns back to its original condition hence the user gets back the lost mileage. This will vary from one customer to another because the engine with more deposits would have lost more mileage and therefore the realization of benefit by using Speed also more in this case.
When Speed is used in a new vehicles, one may not observe any mileage improvement, as there are no deposits to clean. However, it is important to use Speed in new vehicles as Speed keeps the system clean by preventing fresh deposit formation, giving sustained peak performance.
Some vehicles are retuned to operate with lower performance to avoid knocking due to engine deposits. This setting is lower than what the manufacturer intended. When Speed cleans up the engine one may not notice any perceptible change even though the engine is getting cleaned up as the engine was tuned to lower performance. Hence, in such cases, it is necessary to retune the engine to get the benefits of Speed.
